Mughlaf Story
A Little Piece of Home
MUGHLAF started with something very simple: I missed home.
As a Pakistani-American, I grew up with two worlds. America was where I built my life, but Pakistan was always a part of my heart.
It lived in the little things—the smell of food being made at home, the sound of Urdu around me, family stories, Lahore’s beautiful streets, the call to prayer, qawwali playing in the background, colorful kites filling the sky, and the traditions that somehow make you feel connected to generations before you.
As I grew older, I realized how much of those little things had become a part of who I am.
And I didn’t want them to become just memories.
I wanted to create something that could carry those memories forward.
That’s where MUGHLAF was born.
For me, MUGHLAF isn’t just about making clothes inspired by Pakistan. It’s about the feeling behind them. It’s about remembering where you come from while becoming who you’re meant to be.
It’s for the Pakistani living abroad who sometimes misses home.
For the person who grew up between cultures and learned that belonging doesn’t have to mean choosing one over the other.
For anyone who carries a place, a memory, a language, a tradition, or a piece of their family wherever they go.
I created MUGHLAF because I believe our roots are something to be proud of.
Something worth celebrating.
Something worth passing on.
Because no matter how far life takes us, a piece of home stays with us.
And sometimes, all it takes is something you can wear to remind you of where you came from.
MUGHLAF is my way of carrying home with me—and I hope it becomes yours too.
Wear your roots. Carry your story.
